Domestic Cleaner - Adults Residential
Our residential service in Merston, Bognor Regis provides support and accommodation for up to 9 adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
We are looking for a reliable and conscientious Cleaner to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for the people we support.
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Cleaning residents’ bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas (dusting, hoovering, mopping, emptying bins, wiping surfaces, laundry).
- Working flexibly around residents’ daily routines (e.g., accessing rooms when they are out in the community).
- Liaising with the Shift Leader to prioritise tasks.
- Safe use and storage of cleaning products in line with COSHH.
- Assisting the chef with a monthly deep clean of the kitchen.
- Ordering and monitoring cleaning supplies.
HOURS AND PAY
- Part-time: 20 hours per week (approx. 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, between 8am–4pm. Exact days/hours to be agreed at interview.)
- Pay: £13.50 per hour.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience is desirable.
- COSHH knowledge preferred (training provided if needed).
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Respectful, reliable, and able to work sensitively in people’s homes.
